The purpose of this blog is to find some aspect of Catullus in our lives using a particular theme as a lens. As of right now, I don't exactly know what that theme might be, but just give me a week and I'll find something. One of the few ideas I have is to compare movies to particular works of Catullus. After all, Catullus is everywhere!

I will be using the theme "Amici et Inimici" as a lens.

I have decided to compare Catullus to some of the wonderful television shows that we watch. Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill (when that starts), Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy are only a few of the shows I plan on finding some part of Catullus in. Enjoy!
